2007 FLARA LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE & EB MTG IN TALLY MARCH 21-22, 2007!

All 3000 APWU of Florida State Retiree Chapter Officers, Members, and Families are invited to the annual Florida Alliance for Retired Americans (FLARA) Legislative Conference and Executive Board meeting on Wed., March 21 thru Thurs., March 22, 2007 to be held in the Holiday Inn and Suites, 2725 Graves Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303, near Exit 199 from I-10 go north on N. Monroe St. US 27.

The FLARA group hotel room rate is $69.00 to $129.00 night sgl/dbl, depending on building location, plus 11.5 % tax for FLARA members. FLARA will have a full 2-day agenda.

FLARA will have meetings from 9 am to 5 pm on Wed., Mar. 21 and Thur., Mar. 22 to include special invited elected officials and legislators from the national and state scenes and guest speakers covering Retiree issues such as Social Security, Medicare, Health Insurance, Prescription Drugs, Medicaid, and Housing. Our APWU of Florida State Retiree Chapter and APWU Local Retiree Chapter officers, members and families are urged to attend these meetings!
