All 3000 APWU of Florida State Retiree Chapter Officers, Members, and Families are invited to the annual Florida Alliance for Retired Americans (FLARA) Legislative Conference and Executive Board meeting on Wed., March 21 thru Thurs., March 22, 2007 to be held in the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, 2725 Graves Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303, located near Exit 199 from Interstate 10, then go north on Monroe St./US Hwy 27.
The FLARA group hotel room rate is $69.00 to $129.00 night sgl/dbl, depending on building location, plus 11.5 % tax for FLARA members. Please phone 1-850-536-2000 or toll-free 1-800-345-8082 to ask for the FLARA special group rate Code “FAR,” with check in on Tue., March 20 after 4 pm. Check out time is 11 am. FLARA will have a full 2-day agenda with luncheon at the Holiday Inn.

The FREE luncheon includes food, taxes, and gratuity for each APWU Retiree Chapter Member and one spouse or family member, limited to two (2) FREE luncheons for each Chapter member.
Up to five (5) $25.00 CASH DOOR PRIZES will be awarded to the first five (5) lucky Retirees who pay $24.00 year union dues to the National APWU Retirees Dept. signing in at the luncheon according to Jack Gose, Chapter President.
